Garden of Dreams

It is just a ten-minute walk from your hotel if you are in Thamel. There you will see exotic floras, ponds, and fountains. This garden is also perfect for photographs. Nearby, there is a café.

Asan Bazaar

This Bazaar is a perfect example of the Nepalese Bazaar. You will find there, groceries, clothing, electronic gadgets, make up items, shawl, bed sheets, blankets, dry meats, and spices. The place is also packed with people, and the best way to visit this place is in a rickshaw.

Narayanhiti Durbar

Narayanhiti is a recent palace turned into a museum. There, you will see bullet holes on the walls which tell you about the royal massacre of 2001.

In-door rock climbing

In Thamel, there is also a place where you can go to an indoor rock climbing adventure.

Hanuman Dhoka

Hanuman Dhoka comprises of the Royal Palace of the Malla Kings and also of the Shah dynasty. There, you will also see 700 years old temple.

Freak Street

Freak Street is located close to Hauman Dhoka. It is named so because of the hippie culture in the 60s and 70s. It is a great place for tattoos.
