Langtang Valley Trek
Langtang Valley Trek, as its name sounds, takes place in the valley that lies close to Kathmandu. That’s why it is easy for a trekking company to refer this trek to the trekkers who want to do one of the shortest and easiest treks of Nepal within their desired time frame. Langtang Valley Trek is only 7 days, but to complete this trek, you will need 9 days, and we all know that our office gives us 2 weeks of paid vacation every year. How close is the valley of Langtang is a question whose answer you want to know in the quickest manner possible? Because we all know that you are excited to do this trek so that you can have enough time on your list to complete your remaining work. Please do check the itinerary of Langtang Valley Trek given below to align with your vacation, but you can confirm your booking with Travel Max Guide now, even if you are thinking of trekking after 2 years or 3 years.
To reach the starting point of Langtang Valley Trek, you will need 7 hours from Kathmandu. This might sound a lot to you when you compare it with Kathmandu-Lukla flight duration.
As you are driving to the starting point, you will find your driver becoming very careful. You will also find the hilly road dangerous, and you will not believe that you are in this part of the world that is completely different from yours.
After you get off the bus, you will head to the pass covered with snow, looking at the map of Langtang Valley. When you enter the valley, you will see the snow-covered mountains. Then, you will realize that you really don’t have to do a hard trek to see the beautiful mountains in Nepal.
The ongoing trekking trail takes you to the ridge and to the point from where you will see the river flowing below, and the view becomes once in a blue moon experience to the people, especially those living in a city.
You will be walking in a trekking trail alone because most of the trekkers are heading to the Everest or Annapurna region because they think these are only the gems of Nepal. But when you are trekking in the Langtang region, you are helping the people of this region by staying in their lodges and by having food cooked by them. This region was highly devasted by the earthquake in 2015 with a magnitude of 7.5, and it was one of the origin points of the earthquake.
The trekking trail also takes you to a green forest that you have ever seen in your life, including an untouched meadow and a viewpoint. You will also be walking in a yak pasture, and the viewpoint perched on the top of a hill shows you a 360-degree view of mountains, which is the most rewarding moment of your Langtang Valley Trek.
The beauties of the mountains with their unparalleled features will make you breathless, and they will compel you to fix your eyes not only once but also till you finish your trek.
In your country, you might have trekked in different places, but it is also true that you rarely ascend to an altitude of 4000 m, and if you want to ascend to this altitude, then Langtang Valley Trek is an easy way to reach such an altitude without being affected by Altitude Mountain Sickness.
When it comes to accommodation in Kathmandu, you will find Travel Max Guide, the trekking company, also the synonyms to affordability and fine service in both hotel and homestay in the Langtang region
In Kathmandu, you are going to stay at the 3-star category hotel (Value). During the trekking, you will be spending your nights in a tea house. Actually, the tea house is a lodge or a guest house. The tea house is an old name that the trekking agency use for a lodge, and they have been using it for more than 40 years. After all, it used to sell only tea then. Now, they also sell meals and provide bedrooms for the trekkers and climbers. Hence, the name tea house trek is used. Tea house differs from village to village where you will be spending your nights. Some have attached bathrooms and running water, while others have only basic facilities, that is, you have to share a toilet and a bathroom with others. This is so because they are located at a high altitude and the remotest area. Some of them provide dormitory-style accommodation with a bed, a pillow, a blanket, and a bedsheet still, Travel Max Guide suggests you bring your own sleeping bag.
Transportation
In your trip cost, we have also included the transportation fare, so that you do not have to pay from your pocket. The fare includes pick up from the airport as well as drop off in a private vehicle;
Travel Max Guide is waiting for you outside the airport
You will be seeing us or your trekking guide outside the airport, holding the name of TMG Adventure when you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. From there, you will be transferred to your hotel. You will start knowing your trekking guide from the day you arrive in Kathmandu because we believe you should know your trekking guide from day 1, so that they would explain everything about your trip if you have any extra questions. Suppose, if you arrive in Kathmandu in the daytime from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., your trekking guide will take you to the office of Travel Max Guide, and they will take you to your hotel. In Kathmandu, you will be staying in the bed and breakfast.
Near the mountains, where you will be trekking at a higher altitude, your body needs energy, and you get this energy from the food you eat, which has the right amount of carbohydrates, protein, and fat in all meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Walk miles for a good cause
Travel Max Guide is the inception of the First Act Nepal (FAN). Our team is working for a good cause. That might be a good question- there are lots of organizations working for a social cause, but why we are adding the numbers. What might be the reason? The reason is simple; we do love to share what we have. We are strongly guided by the principal, “Love Your Neighbor as Yourself.” So we do it sincerely, honestly, and effectively.
Travel Max Guide donates a certain amount of its income to FAN. It’s a team working for the children of Nepal. Support for the Child Sponsorship Program is what Travel Max Guide would like to tell its clients. It’s just a small contribution to our children who are longing for love and support. If our small contribution can make things different, why not contribute to them. We are looking to build our communities bigger. So let’s share what we can do, let’s do what we are supposed to do from the religious point of view. Listen to your heart what these children are saying.
Volunteering opportunities
This topic is always a key point for us. And we are working on it too. If you are looking to do volunteer or engage in some kind of social work, then you can contact us.
Group trekking/ Single trekking
In a group trekking, normally, there will be a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 30. In the group trekking, there will be a trekking guide, one porter for every two trekkers, and an assistant trekking guide for 8 people. The company will run private trekking for you at your own time frame and requirements.
Special events
If you are looking to make special events in any part of Nepal, such as filming, then you can count on Travel Max Guide for it, including travel documentaries, travel photography, and so on. Travel max Guide helps you in accomplishing your photography tour objective, and if you really want it to happen, then you can ask any questions about it. Our photography tour comes under a special event, which is not included in the above price cost. You can send your group size, time frame, and requirements to us, and we will give you a discount accordingly.
Photography Tour
Upon your request, we can organize a travel photography tour in Nepal. On the trip normally, there will be a photographer who will lead you to the Himalayas of Nepal through the lens. If you are a photographer, or from the film industry, or like to learn photography, then you should visit Nepal because it is a perfect place for it. You can contact us for more details on it.
Carrying extra Nepali money helps you to fulfill your personal expenses during the trekking
Travel Max Guide pays for your accommodation and meals during the trek, including coffee and tea. But you should pay from your own pocket for beverages like beer and soft drinks. Tipping is expected by a trekking guide and a porter, and Travel Max Guide does not recommend how much you should tip? It is completely up to you how much you want to tip them.
How will be each of your trekking days in the Langtang Trekking Region?
With tea and coffee, you are going to start your day. After that you will have your breakfast, then you will be starting your trek from 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. Walking uphill and downhill, you will reach a village where you will be having your lunch. That time will be mid-day. On the way to the final destination, if you want, then Travel Max Guide will provide you tea and coffee, and you will be having your dinner in the lodge. It is also the place where you are going to stay for the night.
Dinner will be served there between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Travel Max Guide needs 101% physical fitness from you for Langtang Valley Trek
If you have blood pressure, then you should bring your medicine; even if you don’t bring it, then you can buy it in Nepal. Besides this, if you don’t have confidence, then you should build it up by walking uphill and downhill. Since you live in a city, one of the most developed cities in the world, you should go for jogging at least one month before starting Langtang Valley Trek. Walking on the plain also builds up your confidence for trekking in the Langtang region. Along with this, you should have a positive attitude because you are going to one of the most underdeveloped countries in the world. Travel Max Guide is saying this because you will be in one of the remotest regions of the world which is 101% different from your highly developed country. But it is also the fact that the trekkers love the remoteness of the Langtang region by 102%.

In my 2 week stay, John was very professional and took me around to experience all that Kathmandu and surrounding areas has to offer. Sites were seen and many locals were met through John’s network. He is a kind man who will take care of any issue no matter how big or small. I highly recommend his company for any travel needs you may have.
I was in Nepal for the Everest Base Camp Trek. Outstanding sceneries and good hospitality. On the way to the base camp, I got an opportunity to visit Bthe uddhist monastery as well as got some information about Buddhism. That was great. Our guide and porter were awesome. Very kind and helpful. Thank you, TMG.
Trekking with Travel Max Guide was an amazing experience. My selection of a trip and the company were excellent and of a right decision. In each moment of my walk, I came across adventure and discovered something new. I remember my first step on the Everest Base Camp. The view was spectacular. Passing through the Sherpa communities and staying in Namche Bazaar is unforgettable. I miss the trip very much. Anyway, thank you so much for your service while I was in Nepal. See you next time for the Annapurna Circuit Trek.
Originally from the United State of America from the city of Los Angeles where life is busy and rush. I made a trip with TMG. It’s a new experience than I excepted. I found Nepalese people really welcoming. They really love tourists. While trekking in the Everest region, I got time to spend with nature, gained plenty of ideas of culture and tradition from the Himalayas. The trip was totally mind-blowing. TMG has a good team spirit and is dedicated to serving guest and trekkers.
Hi! it’s me, Anna from Central London, I am a landscape photographer, love to take pictures of landscapes and portraits all around the world. My trip to Nepal was awesome with the TMG guys. TMG managed well during my trip. Plus point is TMG members are also photographers. I worked with the team for 5 weeks on video and photography projects. I highly recommend the TMG team if you want to know beautiful Nepal.
What we have said, we will provide you all. Please tell us what we can provide you extra. We do not want you only to become happy, but also from happier to the happiest. Having said this, we cannot control the bad weather as well as the other thing, like bandh made by political parties. This thing will lead to a change in your itinerary, but our sole purpose will be to follow it and to take you from one place to another safely. As regards this, we would like to tell you now that you should bring some extra cash for the above situation, or for extra days, however, the above situation is just like once in a blue moon because Nepal is 99% politically stable.
TMG will provide you the surface transfer from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi and back from Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Kathmandu in a public bus. (On request, TMG can provide a helicopter. In addition, TMG can provide a private car or a jeep. Those who are traveling in a heli, or a car, or a jeep, they should pay an additional cost).
First Act Nepal (FAN) is a team who is working for the welfare of the children. Its objective is to empower underprivileged children. What we do is crystal clear, and the impacts can be seen on the health of children, on the education of children, and on the ways and means that will shape the future of these children. Through us, you can make a donation and participate in the child sponsorship program to support children who are vulnerable and who have lost their parents. Sharing is caring. With this view, we also support the people displaced by the disaster.
