You will be seeing us outside the airport holding the signboard of our company when you arrive in Kathmandu- Tribhuvan International Airport. You will transfer to your hotel. Travel Insurance is a must because you are trekking near the mountains at an altitude of more than 3000 meters. You must ensure in your country before coming to Nepal, before starting your trek. Please bring with you a copy of insurance, and your insurance policy must cover the medical expenses, helicopter evacuation from the altitude of 5000 m to 6000 m, and other things related to your health. Before coming to Nepal, your passport must have a validity of 6 months, and you can put the Tourist Visa ‘On Arrival’ on your passport at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Kathmandu Durbar Square
From the hotel where you are staying, nothing is near the Kathmandu Durbar Square. It was a ceremonial site; it was a palace where the would-be kings used to be coronated in the past, now it is a palace cum museum, and to be there is to experience how the royals spend their life. Stand among the monuments, temples, and statues that back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)
Be well prepared in advance because this stupa is located at quite an altitude and is more than 2,000 years old. This is the most important of all the Buddhist Stupas in Nepal and has a fascinating face of Lord Buddha on every side, and its base has the stonework of 5 Dhyani Buddhas – Vairocana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi, and Aksobhya, and each of these represents the wisdom of Lord Buddha. People flock to this stupa to see the birds-eye view of Kathmandu.
Pashupatinath
Pashupatinath is as old as the hills, but the Hindu Committees of Nepal, looks after it, such as renovation and maintenance, and there are new adds on in and around the temple. Pashupatinath is the most important temple of Lord Shiva and located not far away from the heart of Kathmandu. Only Hindus are permitted to enter from the main gate to Pashupatinath Temple. As a visitor, you will enjoy the rich combination of architecture from a distance. If you are lucky, then you might see the Hindu Cremation taking place.
Bouddhanath
Bouddhanath is also a stupa. It is one of the holiest pilgrimages of the Buddhists. It has a white doom just like Swayambhunath, whatever the myth is, it contains the bones of Kasyapa Buddha (Buddha incarnation), while others say it contains the bone of Lord Buddha. Around the base of the stupa are 108 small images of the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha. Go anytime to enjoy these images.

Yesterday, we did the trek preparation. We also checked your insurance details, and you should have a copy of your travel medical insurance policy with you. Today, after breakfast, head to the domestic airport. Enjoy 35 minutes scenic mountain flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport known as Lukla airport. See the wonderful Himalayas, including Everest. Next, we trek to Phakding along with a trekking guide. As you trek, you see Mt Nupla (5,885m) Kusum Kanguru (6,367m) and Mount Kwongde Range. En route, you come across the Dudh Kosi Valley. If you are interested, then you can visit a monastery in Phakding.

As you follow the Dudh Kosi River and arrive in Toktok, you see the stunning view of Thamserku. The trekking trail climbs to Chomoa and Monjo, and you enter Sagarmatha National Park. See the cascade of waterfalls. Follow the trekking trail that goes uphill and downhill. Villages are widely prevalent with flowers, such as Rhododendron, Magnolia, and fir. Intermingling with nature, you head to Namche. On the way, you get an ample opportunity to see the mountains.you can have a view of Mt. Everest as well as of Nuptse.

Acclimatization means an adaptation for tomorrow’s higher altitude. This does not mean staying in a lodge. For the ultimate view of the mountains, head to the Everest View Hotel, and the view consists of Mt.Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kangtegha, Thamserku, Kusum Kangru, Khongde and Khumbu, and others. This is a short hike, and hiking is always strenuous in the Everest Region, and the view of the mountain is impressive. You will see a 180-degree view of the mountains, and you will not regret.

First, you reach Pangboche and on the way see the mountains, such as Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. You walk uphill and downhill. You will also see the iconic bird, that is, pheasant. You also reach Kayangjuma, Sansa, Phunki Thenga, and Tengboche, which has the historic monastery.

After a fortifying breakfast, make your way to Chortens, mani walls, Pheriche, Lobuche, and Dingboche. The main attraction is the superb view of Ama Dablam. Walk down the trekking trail and cross the confluence of the river. Cross the bridge on the Lobuche River. Keep following the steep trekking trail that will take you to Dingboche. You enter the Imja Valley. Dingboche has agricultural fields enclosed by stone walls to protect the barley, buckwheat, and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals.

This will be your second acclimatization day that will goes last up to 6 hours of hiking at the elevation of 5083m. Acclimatization means an adaptation for tomorrow’s higher altitude. This does not mean staying in a lodge. After your breakfast, we will walk to the Nangkartshang Peak (5083m), a hill located on the flanks of the Chhukung valley directly above Dingboche. This walk will lead you to the high and steep hills. You can see the spectacular view of Lobuche East (6090m), Lobuche West (6135m), Tabuche Peak (6495m), Thamserku (6618m), Kangtega (6783m) and Ama Dablam (6814m). If the weather is clear you can see the world’s fifth highest mountain Makalu (8463m), including the great view of the Pheriche Valley.
After having some rest and fun, descend back to Dingboche. It will take nearly 2 hours. After having lunch, you can have a rest and a sunset view.

Along the trekking trail, you will discover the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, the amazing view of the mountains, and the memorials of the Everest Climbers. This is one of the few places in the world where you will see the great view of the mountains; the only thing is the view of the mountains is different, and their names are Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal. From the top of the ridge, you will see the amazing view of the mountains and may experience Altitude Mountain Sickness.

Today, our top priority is to visit the Everest Base Camp. Hit to the narrow and rocky path. Next up is an area from where you can detour. Your guide will tune with the original trekking trail. Pay a visit to the Italian Pyramid. You also hit rocky dunes, moraines, and streams. There is a glacier on the way, the trail is rocky and windy and offers the stunning view of Mt Pumori. You also head towards the Khumbu Icefall. This part of the trek is difficult because of high altitude and thin air. After you swallow the beauty of Everest Base Camp, you say farewell to it.

When you reach the top of Kalapathar, you will find it full of life because it is the only place in the world for every Everest Lover. Kalapathar is a well-defined viewpoint. Above all, you will see the 360-degree panoramic view of Mt Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and so on.

Leaving Lukla, you fly to Kathmandu in the morning due to the wind in the afternoon; sometime the flight time can be delayed due to bad weather. Soak up the best cuisines that Kathmandu offers before you bid farewell to Kathmandu. In the evening, we will have dinner in a Nepali typical restaurant where we can see the cultural dances.
