This has been officially declared by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. This declaration was made at the residence of K.P. Oli’s who is the Prime Minister of Nepal. Previously, the people coming to Nepal from foreign countries had to quarantine in a hotel for 7 days. They also had to do a PCR test in Nepal. You know that it will at least take one day to obtain the result of PCR.

To make a thing easy for the tourists, the government of Nepal will be following the MOCTA proposal. In other words, you can do an instant PCR test at the airport in Kathmandu. That is, you will get the result of COVID 19 instantly or within a few minutes.

Further, the tourists must do the insurance of US $ 5000 against COVID 19. As long as they are in Nepal, all the medical costs should be borne by them if they are infected.

As usual, you can obtain a tourist visa easily at the airport in Nepal from October 17, 2020. The government of Nepal is planning to introduce flexible rules and regulations for tourists. It wants to boost tourism. Many people working in tourism are focusing on the needs and requirements of the tourists, according to Yogesh Bhattarai, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. All these people are on the front line to take tourism to the next level.
