You are an adventurer; you want to dive into the land of mountains. The trekking trail is a rugged terrain from Lukla to the Everest Base Camp. The good thing is you do not need to have a previous trekking experience. You will feel the world’s 4 highest mountains peeping at you on a trekking trail. You will see the Sherpa Culture that you have never seen before. These are the same people who are famous for climbing Mt. Everest. Look above, look around, both blue sky and green hill welcome you. Following uphill and downhill, you will reach traditional villages and visit monasteries that speak of history.
But first, you have to fly to Lukla, one of the starting points of the Everest Base Camp Trek. Because another starting point is Phaplu. When you meet the Sherpas. you will become happy; they have a good knowledge of hospitality service. Best Seasons for this trek are February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November, and December.
One of the greatest highlights of the Everest Journey is you will see Mt Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Makalu (8,481m). and Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m). Out of 10, these are the world’s 4 highest mountains. The closest view of Everest can be had from Kalapathar; this is the best viewpoint.
Another highlight is the Khumbu Icefall. This icefall is located at the edge of the Khumbu Glacier. You will see this on the way to the Everest Base Camp.
The famous villages where you will take a rest are Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep.
