Introducing Nepal

Nepal is a destination where travelers once visit will remake it a frequent visit. Nepal once is not enough, Nepal is a diversity of culture, landscapes, religion, art and many more. A rich country of festivals and the local rituals and street festivals.

A country with thousands of religious places, fluttering with colorful prayer flags, lush green flatlands, oddly attractive barren lands, rocky mountains, high mountains, deep valleys, numerous rivers, lakes and diverse people with their own stories carried down from centuries and deep history is what defines Nepal.

Nepal lies sandwiched between the two domineering land masses India and China, yet it still manages to retain a culture that is distinctly its own. The beauty and diversity of Nepal: naturally, culturally and geographically can’t be truly defined with just words. It is meant to be experienced and felt. Nepal divided into three geographic areas: Mountain, Hill and Terrai (flat).

Kathmandu, the capital with its rich cultural heritage, exquisite temples and Pagodas dedicated to the Hindu Gods & Goddess, Buddhist Chaityas and old palaces with carved windows and doors are a sculptor’s dream and an architect’s delight. It is a land of incredible contrasts. Nepal has over 10 World Heritage Sites. The Kathmandu valley alone has 7 World Heritage Cultural such as Swayambunath, Patan Durbar Square and Boudhanath Stupa.

The cultural landscape is every bit as diverse: a dozen major ethnic groups, speaking as many as fifty languages and dialects, coexist in this narrow, jumbled buffer state, with 2 major religions Hinduism and Buddhism.
